I hope you are ready to recycle, because November 15 is National Recycling Day and we’re making sure nothing gets turned into waste.
According to National Geographic, “Americans send 64 tons of waste to landfills during their lifetime. That’s 246 million tons of waste each year.” And as you probably know, about 80% of materials placed in “recycling” bins ends up in landfills – but we have a better way.
Planet Protectors’ grassroots program, with over 14 volunteers and 1,300 planet protectors members who have diverted over 50,000 pounds of film plastic away from our landfill, is now OFFICIAL!
